Virginia Creeper

Parthenocissus quinquefolia, known as Virginia creeper, is a species of flowering vine in the grape family. Sometimes it climbs trees on the brink of death, and sometimes the tree succumbs and sometimes it doesn't.

This song was originally written while backpacking along the Buffalo River. The melody and rhythm were developed while hiking along the river and up the bluffs. To us, the song is about working your way back up from the bottom. About cyclical patterns and the hope of finally breaking them.
